Fourth Friday Shabbat: Kirtan Shabbat
Friday, March 28, 2025 • 28 Adar 5785
6:30 PM - 8:30 PMIn person at B'nai West (1700 S. Grant St.)
Please join Rabbi Katie, Music Director Hal Aqua, and multi-instrumentalist Miriam Rosenblum for Kirtan Shabbat. Kirtan singing is a spiritual practice from India -- a group experience with easy call-and-response tunes that work nicely with Hebrew phrases from our liturgy. Kirtan is contemplative, joyous, groove-based, and fun.
As we do at all of our Shabbat services, we will offer a healing prayer and Mourners' Kaddish, and a welcoming space to be in community. After the service we will be offering Kiddush and Motzi (wine and bread) and an Oneg Shabbat of coffee and cookies.
Unfortunately this service will NOT be available on Zoom.
