Parashat Chayei Sara

This service comes two days after Thanksgiving, which is an opportunity for recognizing the gratitude in our lives, and often a time when our family gathers. This Torah portion takes us into the realm of tension between siblings and in general the messiness of being human. As we move through the service, we will build and strengthen our gratitude so that we can approach the theme of the parshah with a softer, more open heart. It is up to us to practice the Tikkun of healing, beginning with ourselves.  

As usual, the service will include a prayer for healing and the opportunity to say Kaddish.
