Chesed/"Caring Connections" Training
Sunday April 6th 2-4pm @ B’nai East

Seeking volunteers for Chesed Caring Connections, (previously known as "visiting/calling the sick".)  Our goal is to visit (and/or call) members who may be lonely/ isolated as well as those recovering from a short illness/surgery or struggling with more chronic health concerns.  Volunteers will not be asked to perform any medical duties - these are primarily social visits.  This is a meaningful way to support your community (and your rabbi - who wishes she could do this all herself but who is just one person!)  

Eventually, we hope to form a small team of volunteers who will periodically meet with Rabbi Katie to check in about how visits and calls are going and to share ideas and support.
