A Shabbat Gathering to Remember Sandy Hook
Remembering the 12th Anniversary of Sandy Hook and too many others

On December 14th the world will mark the 12th anniversary of the tragic Sandy Hook school shooting that galvanized so many of us at B’nai Havurah to take action against gun violence.  We hope you will join us in person or online for an inspiring service with Rabbi Katie and Hal Aqua.

During and after the service, members of Havurah B’kavod Jose Diaz (named after B’nai’s beloved custodian who died from gun violence in 2014) will host a brief  presentation about the work of B’nai volunteers in Denver’s HIP (Handgun Intervention Program) followed by lunch and table discussions for those wishing to learn more about Havurah B’kavod and the Colorado Faith Communities United to End Gun Violence (CFCU).
