Please join B'nai Havurah and JFS Jewish Disabilities Advocates for the JDAIM kick off event. Featured speakers will include Rabbi Lauren Tuchman, the first blind woman to enter the rabbinate who will speak about the isolation and loneliness individuals with disabilities often experience and the need for connection.

 

In addition, Rabbi Julia Appel of National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership (CLAL) will share research and lessons on designing events, programs and even organizations for connection and belonging. 

.Following the presentations, members of B'nai Havurah will have the opportunity to participate in our own breakout room where we can begin implementation of a belonging activity.
