Conversations on Aging: Politics, Media, and Disinformation with Hannah
As the 2024 political season ramps up, our minds may be drawn to the past years of increasing political disinformation and lack of trust in those who we are supposed to turn to for our media consumption. The issue of disinformation spans all topics, ages, and political affiliations, but some of us can remember a time when things were different.
Join us for this month's Ongoing Conversations on Aging for a conversation facilitated by Hannah on how media has changed during our lives, and how we can wade through the deep seas of disinformation in our quest to be politically engaged and politically educated members of society.

Hannah (they/them) is one of the newest employees of B'nai Havurah and serves as the Youth and Family Community Organizer and Office Manager. They had their first political job at the age of 14, and their ongoing interest in politics led them to major in Political Science and Gender and Sexuality Studies at St. Olaf College. When they're not in their craft-filled office here at B'nai, they enjoy listening to political podcasts and getting too involved in the minutia of local politics.
A light nosh will be served. We hope you will join us for this and future programs which are scheduled monthly, at the same time on the fourth Thursday of the month.
