As we know from the Plastics Program we held last year, plastics are everywhere and they pose a serious problem to the environment. Now we have the opportunity to learn how to reduce our waste stream and plastic consumption.

Join us for a visit to a Zero Waste Shop. We will meet at the shop, in the Capital Hill area of Denver, where we will talk to the shop owners about why they started the store, and what products you can buy there to reduce your waste footprint. You’ll have time to peruse the store and shop, and will get a list of what the store sells in bulk, beforehand. We’ll have lunch afterwards at a restaurant nearby.
